I created Darija, Day by Day to give you a clear, manageable plan: lessons you can watch on your schedule, a small practice task each day, and a community taking the journey alongside you.

The 15 core lessons are recorded, so you can watch when it suits you, pause when life interrupts, and replay explanations when you need to.

Lessons and challenges will be added week by week. This gives you a clear focus without handing you a whole month of work to figure out at once.

Your part is to make space for regular practice. My part is to give you the teaching, structure, and next steps.

How it works

1. Enrol and open your welcome document

After payment, you’ll find a welcome document in your course area explaining what happens next and how to get ready.

2. Prepare before the start

Follow the preparation instructions and introductory materials provided before the challenge begins.

3. Start together on 15 October

Your lessons and daily practice tasks will be added week by week. Watch the recorded lessons when it suits you and follow the practice plan.

4. Bring your learning into live conversation

Finish the experience with two three-hour live evenings of speaking practice with me, including breaks

Salam, I’m Kawtar—the teacher behind Darija with Kawtar.

I’m Moroccan, with a BA in linguistics and university research focused on Moroccan Arabic. Over six years of teaching online, I’ve helped hundreds of learners work towards their Darija goals.

I care about helping you understand the language and use it to connect with people.

I created this challenge with busy learners in mind: clear teaching, practical activities, and a manageable path to follow.

After the 30-day challenge, join me for two live evenings of guided speaking practice.

Each evening lasts three hours, with a break built in—six scheduled hours together across the weekend.

We’ll bring together what you’ve learned, revisit useful language, and practise using it through guided speaking activities.

The live weekend is included in your enrolment. Dates, times, and the time zone will be confirmed separately.
